Invisalign Introduction
Many patients worry about the unsightly appearance of metal braces when they decide to get braces. With today’s state-of-the-art orthodontic advances, braces don’t have to take over your smile. Patients who do not wish to wear metal brackets in traditional orthodontics can straighten their teeth with Invisalign or Invisalign Teen offered by Dr. X.
With Invisalign, you can correct your bite using clear, comfortable plastic trays. Invisalign in XYZ is a modern method of discreetly aligning your teeth without the use of unsightly metal. For patients who are concerned about the look of traditional metal braces, Invisalign is an excellent option. There is no clear aligner like it in the world! Schedule your personal consultation today to learn more about the benefits of Invisalign, and whether it is right for you.
WHAT IS INVISALIGN?
Unlike metal braces, Invisalign straightens teeth without the use of metal brackets and wires. The Invisalign system uses imaging technology to produce transparent, polymer aligners instead of metal brackets and wires.
Invisalign clear aligners are worn throughout the day and night to straighten teeth over time.
When eating or brushing teeth, they can easily be removed and snapped back into place.
Your teeth are gradually straightened with each new aligner in your customized Invisalign treatment. As well as requiring fewer appointments than a patient with braces, Invisalign also results in a straighter smile in less time. With Invisalign, treatment usually takes six months to a year, which is up to one-third of the time it usually takes for braces to achieve the same results.
BENEFITS OF INVISALIGN
The aesthetic appeal of Invisalign
Metal brackets on teeth are not preferred by many patients. When wearing metal braces, some patients feel self-conscious about their smiles. With Invisalign aligners, patients can receive orthodontic treatment inconspicuously thanks to their clear, understated appearance.
More comfortable to wear than normal braces
The smooth plastic surface of Invisalign aligners makes them more comfortable to wear than traditional braces, which have metal brackets and wires. Patients with metal braces often complain of sores, scrapes, and rough patches. It is especially common for athletes to suffer mouth injuries.
Fewer office visits
You’ll spend much less time at the dentist’s office since Invisalign patients simply switch to another series when their braces need to be adjusted. To monitor your progress or suggest changes to your upcoming aligners, Dr. X will schedule checkups every six weeks or so.
Simple and easy to use
There will be no interference with eating, brushing, or flossing while wearing Invisalign. In addition to regular cleanings with lukewarm water and a brush, they do not require much maintenance. The treatment of Invisalign can be easily added to the daily routine of most patients.
Oral health improved
Invisalign straightens your teeth, making it easier to clean the hard-to-reach spaces between them. It is impossible for even the most attentive patients to clean areas they cannot reach. As part of our commitment to providing more access to dental care, we bring Invisalign to our patients, which is a substantial advantage to your oral health.
WHY DR. X
A Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. X possesses an exceptional level of knowledge and performance in cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
With almost two decades of experience and continued education, these qualifications are further enhanced. For his patients who wanted an alternative to traditional braces, he offered Invisalign as an early adopter of the technology.
At XYZ, we provide the best options for Invisalign. Depending on your orthodontic needs, Dr. X will determine whether you are a good candidate for Invisalign.
During the course of your journey toward straighter, more aligned teeth, he will create a custom fit for your clear aligners, monitor your progress, and ensure that your teeth maintain their position after the treatment is complete.
Am I a Candidate for Invisalign?
If you have mild to moderate bite problems, you may be a good candidate for Invisalign. A crooked tooth, an underbite, an overbite, a crossbite, crowded teeth, a gap in your teeth, and an overbite are all examples of dental problems that can be addressed with Invisalign.
For those who need serious jaw correction, traditional metal braces or other options may be required. Teenagers and adults prefer Invisalign because the clear aligners minimize the appearance of a teeth-straightening device. A small blue dot is placed on the outside of teen aligners to allow parents to monitor whether their kids are wearing them or not.
